For me this is in great detail

6:30 am: woke up for breakfast. I don't feel like getting up but i remember its a SUNDAY
7:00 am: after breakfast we prepared for Sunday Mass. me, kuya and mama. hmm. I MISS PAPA :)
7:30 am or something: while i was waiting for them, i continue reading Coelho's flowing river.
(super love the short stories but i have two deadlines so i'm still on the 30th++ page.
Loser me. I miss reading books :( I'll get back to ALL of you after my internship))

Before 8:30am: CHURCH mode

8:30 to almost 10 am: "A shepherd provides, promotes and protects his sheeps."


after the mass we went to a watch repair shop (haha!)

then had an early lunch at MAX's, we tried their summer offering super big halo halo. And yes! sobrang laki... at madami. yung ice. haha!

after lunch we went home and i just changed into my pambahay and started my online coverage monitoring while i'm trying to start the lead of my article for tomorrow's deadline.

I'm online 11:30 am and its already 9pm. So now, please. WRITER's BLOCK. I don't need you right now. Go away. Okay?

I really want to share my mom's THE BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE ever! but.. you know sobrang confidential. LOL! so, here's a recipe from the net. haven't tried it but i hope someday i will be able to bake.. To be good in baking just like mama.

Dark Chocolate Cake I

Ingredients

• 2 cups boiling water
• 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 2 1/4 cups white sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 3 - 9 inch round cake pans. In medium bowl, pour boiling water over cocoa, and whisk until smooth. Let mixture cool. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; set aside.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at time, then stir in vanilla. Add the flour mixture alternately with the cocoa mixture. Spread batter evenly between the 3 prepared pans.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Allow to cool.

The Almost Perfect Day

I'm just here thinking of tomorrow.
Hoping that the clock would stop ticking
but I changed my mind
and hope to go back to March again.

Then your first born will come home from work and suddenly change the channel then you will soon smile because everyone's home and you could start dinner early.

This artwork is known by the whole world but it made its huge mark to me when we discussed it in our humanities class. Actually, i've been more interested of artworks because of humanities class. I can say that its one of my favorite classes in College. I'm a loser when it comes to drawings, but atleast I've learned that I can do better in "abstract." haha!

This song makes me "senti" everytime i listen to it. Sad song. :) I can't relate with the song but I know that its very sad. :)

I really want to use my own words about this book but I'm soooo sleepy so just read this. from shelfari.com (if you haven't read the book!)

"The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom begins by introducing Eddie, an 83 year-old maintenance man. His father worked at the Ruby Pier and Eddie followed in suit. It was all that he ever knew, and everyday of his existence was filled with making sure that the rides at the amusement park ran smoothly. Eddie could even hear when something was wrong with a ride and that's why he knew exactly what happened on the fateful day when he lost his life. As a sacrifice, Eddie ran in under a falling ride to save a little girl's life. He felt tiny arms pulling him, later he would learn that those arms were pulling him to Heaven.
Eddie arrives at Heaven only to learn that it not a paradise, but a place where his life is explained by five people that were somehow connected to him while he was on earth. This shocks him, especially when he meets the Blue Man. The Blue Man was a circus freak at the Ruby Pier that was accidently killed by Eddie when he darted out in front of his car. This circus freak taught Eddie that everyone in the world is connected somehow. Next, Eddie meets the Captain, his commanding officer in World War II. The Captain shocked Eddie by revealing that he had died in order to save him. Along with sharing his story, the captain revealed how sacrifice and choices can define a life. The third person Eddie met was Ruby, the co-founder of the Ruby Pier. Ruby tells Eddie that anger is useless and this allows Eddie to be able to mend his realationship with his father. After this encounter Eddie met the person he had been waiting for, his wife, Marguerite. She was the only person Eddie truly cared for and of course, she taught him about ever-lasting love. The last and perhaps most important person he met was Tala. She was a young Filipino girl who was accidentally, and unfortunatley burned in the fire that Eddie set as revenge against his enemies in the war. Eddie had never known her, but had dreamt about her every night since. At last, she revealed that Eddie's life did have a purpose and that it was protecting children everyday at the Ruby Pier.
In the end, Eddie walks through the Ruby Pier to find his wife and, his Heaven. The best thing about his Heaven is that he can go to rest knowing that his life had meaning and that everything makes sense. It's certainly not what he expected, but it was certainly what he needed. Mr. Albom leaves us with the knowledge that Eddie is a part of a Heaven for the little girl that he saved at the Ruby Pier. The cycle will continue and everyone in Heaven will have the chance of learning the true meaning of their life."

Everytime I see vintage polaroid cameras, I always smile.. or sometimes be sad because i don't have one. I dream of this since I was 12!!! I don't want the digital one, why? WALANG THRILL. HMP. at hindi pa vintage..

I'm a quote person but this is the only quote that I think I could share without being redundant.

I always post quotes in twitter, fb stat, multi, etc etc. That's why I can't think of what will be my best one.

The quote above may not be my uber fave! but, it has deep meaning for me.

Maybe, in the future if ever i'll encounter deep pain.. I hope I could relate it to love.

I'm staring on a blank screen for an hour thinking if I would share all my favorite books or just pick my top 5. But, I decided to share 3!

I always say that this book never fails to make me cry. Though I have read it a thousand times, I still cry and feel the words of Mitch Albom or lets say the words spoken by the characters. I will always love the Blue Man and Tala. :) And also the captain. Compared to Tuesday's with Morrie, I love Five People.. more. I just hope someday, I can be like Mitch --someone who can inspire a lot of people.

A soldier, a regular college girl, they fell in love. In their hearts they knew its true and eternal but life sucks. Fate is playful. A drama of father/son that made me cry while I was reading it on the bus.

It touched my heart, very much. I talked about it 24/7 to my friends for two months. hahaha!

Just don't compare it to the movie. Jeez. Its different. Though, I can imagine Channing Tatum as John Tyree (lalalallalalalalalla) :)
