"We're both looking at the same moon, in the same world. We're connected to reality by the same line. All I have to do is quietly draw it towards me." -Sputnik Sweetheart (Haruki Murakami)
This what I feel right now to a super crush. Or should I say a daydream person... I know we're on the same world/ the same place.. and breathe the same air. I just don't know how to draw him to me. hahaha! This is so funny! I'm such a dreamer without boundaries! hahaha :))
And yeah, I looove Haruki Murakami♥♥♥ You should try his books, guys! :)

Sputnik Sweetheart ♥♥♥
Julie Myerson on Murakami's Sputnik Sweetheart: Though Murakami seems to invite us to join him in a straightforward mystery adventure, he in fact does something much more upsetting. He frees us from his narrative in much the same way that his characters finally shake loose of one another - he sends us spinning, orbiting wildly. In doing so, he surely accomplishes the best, most unnerving job of fiction: to force you to look hard at the parts of yourself you never even suspected were there. ♥♥♥
Murakami is the boooooomb. He has the power to make me think and be confused. After a third book, I'm a super duper fan! :)

Cinemalaya 2011
My yearly dose of Philippine Independent Films (Cinemalaya 2011)... And finally we're able to reserve tickets. We're going to attend the gala night of Ligo na u, lapit na me tommorrow. "Ang Babae sa Septic Tank on Friday and Rakenrol on Saturday..."
Actually, we didn't get the nicest schedules because most of the tickets were already sold out. Argh! Years before, we can't reserve tickets for different day screenings so we thought that this year would be like that too. We were shocked to know that the tickets are almost sold out that's why we really tried to buy tickets... and that's all we've got. :(
This year they also have a screening at Greenbelt Cinemas and after this week.. There would be another screening at University of the Philippines.
I'm just glad independent films are now appreciated by the public... ♥

What's your favorite movie quote?
It just wasn't me that you were right about. -Summer :)
"Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful". - A walk to remember :)
I love you and I will tell you everyday, Everyday until you forget the things that hurt. I hate the things that make you hurt And how I wish I could take them away. If only it could be done, I'll do it for sure. "... -ALAM MO YAN!

Exclusive: Demi Lovato Tells All
Its the second interview that i watched from Demi Lovato, the first is the the interview (also) with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show where I literally tore up because I was so touched. HAHA!
I am a Disney 90's (cartoons, shows etc)baby (fan)... Though, I can see that their young stars are slowly making their way to papparazzis and everything.. I was not fan to some of them. I love Britney Spears, Cristina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake... (the mickey mouse club) they're my favorites... haha!
Today's generation of disney stars have their share of bad publicity, intrigues etc. To tell you honestly, though I'm not a fan -- they really have talent. I adore people who can compose songs.. and they're those people. Its just that maybe because they're famous at a young age, it can get on their heads. Anyway, of all of them, Demi Lovato is the one I choose who I can see with great vocals. When I watched her videos singing live, I said.. gosh this girl has voice. And Camp Rock happened, I remember my friends and I are mocking her with her big smile and how oa ( I think when Michy performs in the last show) but nevertheless, I actually like her. Then I have listened to her album and boom! I'm a fan!
Until, she went to rehab.. I loved her more! Of all the disney stars I think she's the one who has accepted that "Yeah! something is wrong with me and I don't want to be this way forever..." I admire her for such courage to accept that she needs to rebuild her life. And when she got out of rehab, she inspired me more. I am one of those people on this planet who wants people to know that "YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE PERFECT! Nobody is...." She shared her story so that she could also change lives. And even she's just one girl out there who has the same problems... It will really be a big help.
Love is louder than the Pressure to be Perfect! -Demi Lovato
and btw.. I loooove Ryan Seacrest so much! haha! :)

I'm currently reading...
I thought of making a post for the current books I'm reading.. So that if ever a random someone stumbles on my blog, he/she might try to read some of the books that i'm also reading. And also that way I can inspire (maybe) someone to read a book. It makes me sad whenever I learn that some people haven't read a book (not textbooks) their entire life. I don't say, I'm expert on reading, books or anything. I just know that i love reading and I want to share this to everyone. As Hazel Rochman say, “Reading takes us away from home, but more important, it finds homes for us everywhere.”
I'm still struggling on writing good reviews so I don't have anything to brag about. I really just want people, mostly today's generation to pick a book and be lost somewhere in their imagination and have fun.
A actually read anything that is recommended to me.. But, I have a fair share of favorite genres. I love fiction... Young Adult... Chic Lits and I will forever be a Mitch Albom fan, cause whenever i read his works, i am inspired. :)
I will not give summaries on this post because its for you to find out what its all about. Hello? there's google. haha! :)
So now, I'm reading:
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
I just started this book after lunch today and I know before this they ends I will know what will happen to Anna and her life in Paris while she's on boarding school. :)
Princess Diaries 5 by Meg Cabot!
I really don't want to end this book because its the last book i purchased in the booksale for the Princess Diaries Series... I still need the 6 7 8 and 9! Oh gosh! After I read this, I will be crazy wondering what's happening with Mia and her princess lesson! :))
South of the Border West of the Sun by Haruki Murakami
I really want to read this book after Norwegian Wood, i'm just glad my friend Kianah lend it to me. I LOVE MY FRIENDS.
The Perks of being a wallflower
I promise after I read anna and the french kiss later this is next!
GUYS READ
I always admire guys who would read a book. And one of them is my Kuya (brother) Ryan. We love books so much. So when my friend recommended this to me, I read it right happily. The book is a collection of stories from male authors... This book is encouraging guys to read more books! Super funny stories from our favorite authors! hahaha
So what are you waiting for?! READ!

Find hard work you love doing.
If I could offer my eighteen-year-old self some real career advice, I’d tell myself not to base my career choice on other people’s ideas, goals, and recommendations. I’d tell myself not to pick a major because it’s popular, or statistically creates graduates who make the most money. I’d tell myself that the right career choice is based on one key point: Finding hard work you love doing. As long as you remain true to yourself, and follow your own interests and values, you can find success through passion. Perhaps more importantly, you won’t wake up several years later working in a career field you despise, wondering “How the heck am I going to do this for the next 30 years?” So if you catch yourself working hard and loving every minute of it, don’t stop. You’re on to something big. Because hard work ain’t hard when you concentrate on your passions.

This one article keeps me going. I'm having my daily Stumble Upon searching when yeah! Stumbled on this. Its been almost three months after graduation... I still haven't found a decent job. Yes, it is the cause of my depressions, frustrations,.. that would also turn into positive thinking and never losing hope blog posts. Sorry for that. And because of this I turn into my journal more often...
The truth is, I had calls from companies but they're not in line with my course... Call me selfish but, I really want to have a job that I can enjoy and something that would bring out the best in me. Sadly, it has not arrive yet. So thank you for this article. :)
I will still keep my hopes up.

A brother's love
This video made me tore up last night. I was so touched and when i text my friends about this, they said they're also watching and they're crying. The two guys are brothers and the one with the "saklay" is Kurt. He had bone cancer, it happened when he was 16 years old. They decided to amputate the other leg to save his life.. Though, cancer cells already reached other parts of his body and ITS A MIRACLE that until now he survives. The doctor even gave Kurt one month to live but with God's miracle he's still alive.
They have a cool and soothing voice. Nothing very special but their love as brothers melts my heart (also my friends' hearts). After the beautiful rendition of "After all". They asked questions and Jefferson said "He prayed for someone special to come into his life and yes, someone came... but his brother got sick... And he prayed (its really best to hear it in tagalog but I want everyone to understand) "Kahit hindi na ibigay yung babaeng gusto niya basta buhayin lang ang kapatid niya." (It doesn't matter if the right girl wouldn't come along, just make my brother ALIVE.) aawww.
and as the song says.. "I guess its meant to be forever you and me after all.."

Someone Else Will Always Have More
8. Someone Else Will Always Have More
Whether it is money, partners, friends or even blog subscribers, there will always be areas where other people have more than you. That isn't to say you can't become abundant in whatever you want (i.e. someone always had more money than Warren Buffett until 2008 when he was noted to be the richest man in the world).
The wanting of more actually holds a very important lesson...
Important Lesson: Just because someone has 'more', that doesn't mean they are happy. Read the biography of any celebrity and they will tell you they enjoy their process of earning money, rather than what money can do to make them happy. In other words, focus on what you love, not what the thing you love can get you.
I got this from Stumble Upon
--We have to accept it. Someone would be richer, better, smarter, .. name it. Sometimes, you have to embrace what you have in order for you to accept that your life can get on without the things you want to have. Still, that doesn't mean you'd stop dreaming. Continue living, dreaming and making it your reality.
Life is unfair but still it is worth living.

Once in awhile there's magic
Once upon a time in your life, you'll meet someone who would let you believe in soul mates, destiny and savior. (don't worry this is not a love story, just another blog post from the land of what might have been). Yes, one time the girl believed about all of those "cheesiness" and "chic flick" plots but then again that was once upon a time.
She's just a 14 year old girl who is trying to be at ease with her new section in high school when she had a seatmate. A naughty, talkative and uber "pasaway" seatmate. She thought they would never connect but she was wrong. Seatmate could be really sweet who could give her little things whenever they meet again on Monday. She has a certain smile on her face when he gives her some thing from his weekend getaway. They became close friends. Close friends wherein they tell each others secrets, tease each other, tease their other friends, and laugh about everything together.
Until, the naive girl developed a little crush on his seatmate. haha. Funny? because at that time there was a song that was so hyped. While the girl's singing it on her head while doing a seatwork, seat mate suddenly sang it out loud. And of course, she thought it is soooo destined (whatever!).
Also with those sweet moments, they had a pet name for each other and because of that friends started to tease them. Good thing, their teacher planned another seat plan and the seat mates were far from each other now and seat mate don't talk to her that much.. You know the thing when you're too close to someone and people starts teasing you and you find it hard to be normal and talk again? That's what happened. Seat / (soul) mate, crush = gone.
Then, another someone came along.. The real one but that's another story. :)
Anyway, after those "ilang moments", they became good friends again. Laugh and tease each other again, still call their pet name to each other but just friends.
Anyway, that was six years ago. She believed in a once upon a time and people stays the same after how many years...
He maybe the good guy before but now, he is someone who is real. He is not the perfect good guy anymore (the one you created on your fantasies). He's the one who could hurt other people, someone who can do evil and silly things, he's not the goody goody guy. Not because, he's really a bad person but he's just not the one who could live up in your imagination. Its time to wake up darling. He's not savior anymore. He's just.. a guy who once made your heart skip a beat.
He came into your life to make you smile and to make you believe that once in awhile there are moments that can be magical too... just moments.
Like, someone who will come to teach you to follow your heart and be happy but it does not mean that he is there to teach you forever.. He's just an instrument to wake up your sleeping heart.
So to her seat/soul mate. Thank You... thank You...

About writing
"Writing isn't about making money, getting famous, getting dates, getting laid or making friends.
In the end, it's about enriching the lives of those who will read your work, and enriching your own life as well.
It's about getting up, getting well and getting over. Getting happy, okay, getting happy!".
"When you write from the heart, you do not only light the dark path of your readers, you light your own path as well."
-Stephen King
