caution: I will talk about Twilight (the book). This is not a review or anything. Its just me and my opinion about the book. I'm not a hater, I'm not a super lover. :) So if you're a super fan, you can stop reading now. If you're a hater, don't include me in the hate club because I won't join.
I've read the first two books even before it became out of stuck in the bookstores (just borrowed it from my friend). I finished the last two books before I've seen facebook status trends became "twilight" blah blah blah. And yes, I admit it. I got hooked over Edward Cullen and I think (slight) until now. As a proof, I made this blog post:
Why do girls drool over Edward Cullen . I love Alice, Jasper and Emmet so much!(until now!). To make this short, I became a fan. I've waited for the movie, I hated Bella's flirty gestures, I cried with some of the scenes, I wrote some of the quotes and actually memorized some of it. etc etc. I started to research Stephanie Meyer and i liked (with a D!) her.
Actually, while reading the book I noticed some grammatical errors. No, I'm also not that good in grammar (i got flaws too) but as a journalism student I know my basics. I thought its just me but my friends also noticed it but I didn't mind I'm too occupied with the story. So, I finished reading Breaking Dawn before The Twilight Movie was released. I love it.
Until, issues suddenly appeared that the book is just another story/book stolen by Meyer from another writer. I think there were cases against her but again I didn't mind. Then my friends (who have also read the book) told me that they have read another vampire story (stories with the same plot) almost the same as Twilight Saga. The only difference is Meyer's characters were teenagers that's why it was accepted by the youth. Many best seller authors were reacting to Meyer's way of writing.
The book got overrated, everyone's talking about it and I grew tired of liking it. I still love the characters, though. I'm looking forward in reading all the books that says where Twilight Saga was copied, one would be Tuck Everlasting (its not about vampires but being immortal). So that I can say that I have read the original (peace!).
Do you know the feeling "when everything you believe into is just a lie." Sobrang nakakainis yun. Everytime I read a book, I put my heart and mind into it kaya nakakainis malaman na wala lang pala yung book na yun. Kopya.
Anyway, that's the reason why I'm not excited with the movies (and again except for Breaking Dawn). I think ( I don't know if its not original too) Breaking Dawn made me imagine the impossible. :) I just hope that the movie would be good. Excited to see, R. haha!

Robert Pattinson, he became my 2008-early 2009 crush until everyone's making him the lead star, the blah blah of the year.. etc. So I stopped drooling over him (nakakasawa) then I've watched "REMEMBER ME!", he gained my love again. :0 haha!
Anyway, I still look forward for Breaking Dawn the movie. Exciting. (hahah! still haven't watch eclipse). I (before it was love) like Twilight Saga and I kinda hate it too because some scenes are too cheesy. The author? never mind. :))
