Real Men Surprise Their Dates

Very sweet video. I want to hug the guys here for giving their wives, girlfriends & fiances so much love. That was really surprising, especially the husbands who are in corporate attire singing a boyband song. Woooow! When you love somebody you are willing to do everything for her -- maybe that is true. Totally true because of this video. haha

Mixed Vid tape

This mixed vid tape is a Chritmas gift of my friend Debbie to all of us.

She gave it to us while we were eating at Dad's Glorietta (during our post Christmas get together.)

I always say that I love mixed tapes and I wish someday someone would give me one (gooosh! I'm so cheesy and old school! haha.) So this mixed vid tape is very special. Debbie explained that all of us have almost the same content of the vid except that in the cd that has your name, you are the star of the video. I'm not saying the shining star but the laughingstock star. HAHA!

I have many candid photos and VIDEOS(OMAYGAASH!) that is why Debbie told us that we can blog about this but we should "POST AT OUR OWN RISK!" I'm still thinking if I want to post the vid because I am ashamed of myself... hahaha! The photos and vids are very funny but at the same time... HEARTFELT. 

We just graduated last year but I miss everybody already. It is really different because when we were still in College, we see each other everyday. Have lunch together, dinner, snacks, wait for each other before class starts, "be late in class together", attend org/club meetings, watch movies together even the "cheesy" ones, overnights, go home late, just pig out whenever we have extra money.." So I'm not really used on the set up of not being with them everyday. Still, I have to remember some good things never last. We all need to grow up and be better people. One thing I know is as we go and achieve our dreams, we will never forget each other and we will always support each other. :) 

The songs debbie used in the video is really ♥. Actually the video has a collection of many photos with our many friends, mostly our Journ group, Sentinel Family (school paper), MassComm friends, other classmates etc.. That is why, I was teary eyed while watching the vid. Here are some stills in the vid. :)

Brother = more than a superhero

I don't know why I even bother to make this post but it really just felt right. (WHATEVER brother! haha!)

No matter how much I deny it, I really love my brother. Hello? I don't have any other siblings, just him. Do I have a choice? haha.

He maybe a big guy but he has the softest heart. haha! The Mama's boy :P

Seriously?! :) My Kuya (term for older brother) Ryan is my confidant and yes.. best friend. He knows me so much that I can't even hide to him that I am upset about some things. He knows all my dreams, even my most  unrealistic ones. He laughs about it but he always tell me that it can be possible. In short, he believes in me so much that he is the one who pushes me whenever I doubt myself. 

He is also my motivator especially, on my writing and physical fitness. :) We love reading books together with Mama. When it is his off from work, we would just sit outside the house and read. We like different genres but we still try each others recommendations.

Okay, let me end this post now because I'm saving the tribute post for his birthday on March.

We don't have a perfect bro/sis relationship but nothing's perfect. We always fight and because he is  older he loves to scold me. Hmpf.   :P

If everything else fails, eat ice cream.

I really had a bad morning and I can not shoo the bad vibes away. I end up feeling bad about everything  and almost had another ultimate emotional breakdown (sometimes, you can't really practice what you preach). I'm just glad I was able to talk to my mama and some friends. 

I am always good in making decisions, how come I fail on it now? Whew. Maybe I just need to repeat my mantra "Some days just don't work out so well" 100x? haha.

Still, I believe when there are so many unanswered questions eat ICE CREAM. I've been depriving myself from sweets since the start of the year because I had consumed too many desserts last Christmas and New Year. I was really down this morning and I need to make myself happy. So my dearest beloved ice cream. Thank You. :) 'til next time.

Marriage Proposals

There's a sudden joy in my heart whenever I watch videos of marriage proposals. I would cry while watching the video, as if I am the girlfriend. I don't know, I just find it amusing to witness someone expressing love in a very selfless way. 

To connect this on my post, this afternoon, I was watching the latest episode of Glee with my two friends (who were supposed to finish something for their thesis) and we realized that Mr. Schue will propose to Emma. I haven't watched Glee for a long time now so I don't really know the flow of the story. I was just very touched with Mr. Schue's proposal. haha. I'm sorry, I'm just a simple girl and I am very mababaw. 

The Glee cast sang We found love by Rihanna. If you are curious with Mr. Schue's proposal just watch the latest episode.

After all the things that I felt today, I know that everything will be alright again. :)

Graduation Happiness - April 30, 2011

MASAYA PALA TALAGA GRUMADUATE! :) An awesome day for everyone who worked hard for our diploma. All I can say is... Dear Diploma, you know what? you're worth it! Super duper worth it.

Me and God

Everytime I see depressed posts, sad posts etc. I always remember this quote "Just shout to your problems, Hey! I have a BIG GOD! You can't bring me down."

When it comes to depression, I am on the top list. I always worry about things. every single little thing but I just don't show it because I don't want people to worry. then I changed.

We had our religion class in grade school. Our catechists are from a nearby church [i am not yet enrolled in a catholic school at that time]. That's when I became closer to Him. And maybe because of my Aunt's influence too.

There are times that I would question God too. Come on! I'm only human, but I always look for Him when I'm in pain that's when I started to forget to ask for reasons. I tried to understand every way that I can.

When you welcome God into your heart, everything will be okay.
