Day 10 - Your OTP (one true pairing)

We all know that Chair is the most popular pair on Gossip Girl. I also have that "kilig" feeling everytime they throw sweet lines to each other. But, I have a confession, I'm also a fan of nate/blair tandem. I got teary-eyed on the episode when the two were talking about their messed up life and Blair suddenly blurted "What happened to us?!" (something like that).
Until, senior prom and they decided that the love wasn't there, anymore. Aww. Some good things never last.

Well for me, my one true pair will always be Dan Humphrey and Serena Van der Woodsen. Some call them a boring couple but I don't. If only the writers could write a better storyline for the couple. :)
A lonely boy from Brooklyn dating an it girl of Upper east side. Its hard to be with someone who is living a different life from yours, but they took a chance.
They never fail to bring out the best in each other. I will always smile those sweet lines.
Their heartbreaking elevator scene. They are both fighters when it comes to love.

Dan: Because I do.

Serena: I really want to trust you when you say those words, Dan. So maybe if I knew why, I’d stop being so scared of hearing them and afraid to say them.

Dan: Okay. Well, if you want to talk about why…

Serena: It has to do with my mom and her many marriages.

Dan: There. That’s why. Because I actually like it when you interrupt me, which is often, by the way. I love you because you make no apologies about being exactly who you are… Beautiful, smart, sexy as hell.

Serena: Now you’re embarrassing me.

Dan: That’s another reason. You’re completely unaware of your affect on me. You’re also completely unaware that you laugh like a 4-year-old.

Dan: Just like that. And I love you because you can be with someone like me and still be best friends with someone like Blair.

Serena: Yeah, well, I tried to be.

Dan: I know you do. And that’s not easy, but you never give up on her. That is how amazing you are.
