Time's Up (poetry)

This is poem is one of the finalists in our school's writing contest *i hope you'll like it too.

THEME: TIMELINE

Darkness came
Soon, brightness faded
When his visions opened
two heartbeats echoed

His skin blanched
As breezy air arises
When dried leaves flew around
He began to stare...

Stare
and stare
To the lady
He called, "life"

His tears trickle
and mouth tried to utter
But in a sudden hush
Lights flickered

Brightness reappeared
Without hesitation...
He flinched.
When the voice whispered "TIME's UP"

I don't have an inspiration in this one.. I just imagine someone who was given a chance to amend the past but when he is about to make a move, he can't bring back the old times anymore. Feels like your in a dream thinking it was reality.
