Helen Mirren in Esquire
Is there a window where i can see the future? cause right now everything is uncertain. (from my friend's twitter stat)
at this point in my life, i know who i want to be but i don't know who i am.
“Everyday we ignore how completely broken this world is. And we tell ourselves it’s all gonna be okay, ‘You’re gonna be okay!’ but it’s not okay. And once you know that, there’s no going back. There’s no magic in the world. At least not today, there isn’t.”
I don't know how to explain myself further because all the posts above are the explanation of what I'm feeling right now. I'm even glad to know that I am not alone. My friends are also trying to find their own path. Some have already started, some are going back while some are like me confused and disappointed.
I admit, I am the girl who has many dreams. I even set goals for myself each and everyday. And when time gets tough, I am the one who'll say "It's okay. We will be fine." Until, one day everything came crashing down and you have to admit that you are not okay, you are lost and you can't see a brighter future (not yet).
I am lost and i don't know what to do. Everyone I know always say to me that I should not hurry, you're still young blah blah blah. In a fast paced world like this, how could they say "that I should just take my time?" That is one of the many questions I ask myself. No one has to answer it. I have to figure it out myself.
This post is really confusing... Yeah?! haha! Anyway, all I'm saying is... There's nothing wrong in admitting that you are lost and you do not know what to do with your life. Everybody experiences that certain stage. The lesson is learn to be back on track and start from Step 1 (dream again.)
I will turn 21 next week, yikes! so I need to be back on track again. :)

Lost at 20
“The hardest period in life is one’s 20s. It’s a shame because you’re your most gorgeous and you’re physically in peak condition. But it’s actually when you’re most insecure and full of self-doubt. When you don’t know what’s going to happen, it’s frightening.”
