BARNEY
I never loved this cartoon creature since i was a kid. haha.
I just heard my friends mentioning about him or her? whatever!
I just need his NAME to hide the person i want to describe.
July 15 -- english time... mr. barney came into the PICTURE.
To be honest, i noticed his looks but again for me -- i thought he is just same ordinary guy who just go to his classes because he paid for the tuition fee...
And yes, after several times that english class started, its either his late or absent.
How could i know him better? haha
That simple question made my day. "What's my course?" -- at least he knows that i existed. That question was answered by a fact and he answered back with a smile. A smile that made my heart jump. A heart-jumping moment that until now cringed me to death.
How do i came up to the name barney? I was fooling around with friends before the class ends until a friend mentioned about a cartoon character that he/she (haha!) compared to me. I just laughed until someone tapped my shoulder and butted in "hayaan mo kung ikaw si teletubbies, siya naman si barney". There's no heart thumping moment from that words but the fact that he sided with me (we hardly know each other!) is truly a memorable moment.
There started again this GIRL's fantasy. She again believed that she is human. A human who can be moved by someone from the other side of her world.
Her life continued with some moments that made her heart stop. Through her peripheral vision she knew Barney looked at her way. But, she thought that " ASSUMING na naman ako"
So, days.. weeks.. months continued that they haven't got any chance to know each other better. But, you know what? She is contented with that. The simple stare, sweet smiles and quick hi's and hello's.
The semester ended that she realized that fantasy or Reality, it still made her heart -- occupied and happy. even just for a short time.
So let me talk to my BARNEY: See you in the hallway.If there's any chance that we'll be classmates again, i'll be more friendly and approachable. Thank you -- thank you for bringing my heart to its original human form.
