miracles

A five year old girl went to the pharmacy and asked the pharmacist, "This is the only money i have, can i buy some miracles?" The pharmacist confused with what the girl asked said " What do you need miracles for? " The girl replied, " The doctor said that only miracles can save my mom.. Can i buy it here? "

I had this quote in my cellphone since 2006. The first time i read it, it made me realize that sometimes the most important things in this world cannot be bought.
Like miracles.. When i was a child, i always hear the word miracle from my aunts and uncles' conversations. They say that this are the things that comes when you least expect it.

One thing they forgot to tell me is miracles are sent by God to grant your wishes. I just realized it as i grow up.
Waking up every morning is a miracle from God, and we have to thank him for that for giving us the chance to live and enjoy his creations.

What's sad is not all of us experience GREAT miracles, that is when we compare to what others have and what we don't have.

Like the child in the quote, maybe we should be more responsible about life. The child doesn't know that miracles can't be bought but its her innocence shows on how much she cares about her mother. At this age and time, some people doesn't care for their mother or even their families. Because of the pride that we have, we show them the bad side of us.

We should all know how ironic life is.
I want to hear the words more in Filipino language.
"Kung kailan wala na yung taong mahal mo dun mo pa maiisip na napakahalaga niya sayo."

This line is not only for lovers and couples. It can also be applied to FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS.
We should always think that its a MIRACLE waking up one morning with your FAMILY laughing together. How corny it is, but still it should be called a miracle.

Because not all people have the chance to have a complete family laughing with them everyday.
